Support Garden of Hope's Safe Houses

Garden of Hope's Hope House was established in July 2011. Grace House and Peace House were added in 2015. Over the past seven years, these family-styled shelters provided over 400 women and children displaced by violence who would not have anywhere else to turn to a safe haven and a place to rebuild lives and hope.

Garden of Hope, a linguistically specific and culturally competent gender base violence victim service organization is dedicated to serving, caring, and rebuilding the lives of victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking particularly the vast Chinese immigrant community across NYC. We meet the needs of the most vulnerable survivors. 95% of our clients are new immigrants, 98% live in poverty. Our comprehensive trauma-focused, empowerment-based services include crisis intervention, counseling, support groups, advocacy, case management, legal assistance, shelters, emergency assistance (food, clothing and money), job training, children counseling and camps. All services are free. Our office and shelters are confidential, mailing address is PO Box 520048, Flushing, NY 11352.
